Returns & Refunds

All sales are final.
Our pieces are antique and one-of-a-kind, sold as-is. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for change of mind, size/fit, color variance, or age-related wear.

Why no refunds?

Antiques naturally show signs of age—patina, glaze variations, kiln marks, minor surface wear. These are not defects; they are part of each item’s history and uniqueness. Every listing includes photos and descriptions to help you purchase confidently.

Exceptions (the only times we’ll step in)

We’ll assist if:

  • Item arrives damaged in transit, or
  • We shipped the wrong item, or
  • The item is materially misdescribed (significant undisclosed damage/repair).

What to do if there’s an issue

  1. Email us within 48 hours of delivery at [taiwan.consult@msa.hinet.net].
  2. Include your order number, clear photos of the item and all packaging, and a brief description.
  3. Keep all packaging—carriers require it for claims.
    If a claim is approved, we’ll offer a repair, replacement (if available), or a refund.

Non-refundable / non-returnable

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
  • Color differences due to lighting/screens.
  • Minor age-consistent wear noted or visible in photos.
  • Delivery delays outside our control (customs, carrier).
  • Parcels returned due to incorrect address or missing phone number provided by the customer.
  • Import duties, taxes, or brokerage fees charged by your government.

Statutory rights (important)

Nothing here limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer laws in your country. Where such rights apply (e.g., certain EU/UK cooling-off rights for distance sales), we will honor them. If a lawful return right applies, return shipping, insurance, and any import/export charges are the customer’s responsibility, and items must be returned in the condition received.

Packaging & inspection

We pack professionally and ship with tracking. Please inspect on delivery and report issues promptly (within 48 hours) so we can work with the carrier.
